This is my version of Shiga's red. We both came to it the same way, via a Temoku with Phosphorous swapped for half the Calcium. Seems to crystallise really well with some Barium added - played with getting Alumina down and it develops macrocrystals in a reduction fire. I really like the interface between the iron red and Temoku - cherry blossom or volcanic ash falling. Pity some galleries don't like crystal.
Sold this one at Skepsi on Swanston gallery. Thanks again Anna.
Working now on combining this on the outside of bowls with teadust, white chun or gold shino inside. The colour combos work well to give a very contemplative overall effect. Very Zen.
